About Stamp Duty
Stamp Duty in Jamaica is charged on the conveyance instrument as a flat fee of J$5,000, split equally between buyer and seller (J$2,500 each). Separately, Transfer Tax of 2% is paid by the seller, and a Registration Fee (~0.25%) is paid by the buyer to the Titles Office.
