By OurJa News Desk
PICA's fifth regional office begins operations in April. Residents in Clarendon, Manchester, and St. Elizabeth can now apply without travelling to Kingston.
The Passport Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) has opened its fifth regional office in May Pen, Clarendon. The office serves residents of Clarendon, Manchester, and St. Elizabeth, reducing the need to travel to Kingston or Mandeville for passport applications.
The May Pen office accepts new applications, renewals, and replacements. Standard opening hours apply: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.
PICA's regional expansion is part of a broader initiative to decentralise government services and reduce travel burden for Jamaicans outside the Corporate Area.
