NHT: 2019 Contributions Now Open for Refund Claims

The National Housing Trust confirmed contributions from 2019 are now eligible. Applications are open through the NHT website and mobile app.
The National Housing Trust (NHT) has opened the refund window for 2019 contributions. The NHT operates on a 7-year refund cycle, meaning contributions made in 2019 are now eligible for return.
Applications are being accepted through the NHT portal at www.nht.gov.jm and through the NHT mobile app. In-person applications are also accepted at all NHT offices.
Eligible contributors will receive back the 2% employee portion they paid in 2019. Employer contributions (3%) are not refundable. Contributors with outstanding NHT loans or mortgages will have their refund applied against the outstanding balance first.
