The Ministry of Finance has confirmed the income tax threshold will rise to J$1,902,360 annually, effective April 1, 2026. This represents an increase of J$102,984 from the previous threshold of J$1,799,376.

Workers earning below J$158,530 per month will pay zero PAYE income tax. For those earning above the threshold, the monthly tax saving is approximately J$2,245.
