Companies Office Cuts Registration Processing to 3 Days

The Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) has implemented a new digital verification system that reduces the standard processing time for business name and company registration from 5-10 days to 3 business days.

Online applications submitted through the ORC Jamaica portal are being processed faster than walk-in applications. The COJ is encouraging all applicants to use the online portal at www.orcjamaica.com.

The initiative is part of the government's broader effort to improve Jamaica's ease of doing business ranking.
